59-Year-Old Antioch Man Killed in Contra Costa County Crash on Highway 4 near Interstate 680

Contra Costa County, California (January 20, 2021) – A 59-year-old Antioch man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday night in Contra Costa County, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened on westbound Highway 4, just west of Interstate 680.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Ford F-150, driven by the 59-year-old man, overturned on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
Following the collision, the black Ford F-150 was then struck by an oncoming white Ford F-150, the officials said.
Man Killed in Contra Costa County Crash
Sadly, the 59-year-old Antioch man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The driver of the white Ford F-150, a San Leandro man, suffered minor injuries in the collision.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
