Man Hospitalized after Mission District Accident at 24th Street and San Jose Avenue
San Francisco, California (January 20, 2021) – A male pedestrian, in his 70s, was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Mission District neighborhood on January 19.
The San Francisco police responded to the major injury crash site at approximately 8:31 p.m. at 24th Street and San Jose Avenue in San Francisco.
The pedestrian, who was in the crosswalk, was hit by an unspecified vehicle for undetermined reasons.

The male party sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for further medication.
The accident remains under active investigation.
