Anthony Wilson ID’d as Man Killed in Alamo Crash on I-680 near Stone Valley Road
Alamo, California (March 11, 2020) – The man who was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck that occurred in Alamo early Saturday morning has been identified as Anthony Wilson, 64, of Brentwood, according to the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office.
The crash was reported at around 5:59 a.m. March 7, on southbound I-680 just south of the Stone Valley Road exit.
According to the CHP, Wilson was driving a Freightliner big rig on southbound I-680 when he noticed a crash scene in front of him and swerved to avoid it. The big rig ended up crashing into the center divider.

The impact ejected Wilson onto the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported from the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
