Anthony Lipscomb Arrested after Cupertino Car Crash on Highway 280 near Wolfe Road
Cupertino, California (December 14, 2019) – Anthony Lipscomb, 22, was arrested following a suspected DUI fatal collision early Wednesday morning in Cupertino, according to a local news source.
The wreck was reported at about 1:17 a.m. December 11, on Highway 280 just south of Wolfe Road.
According to the report, a silver Kia Soul was traveling southbound on Highway 280 when it was rear-ended by a silver Hyundai driven by Lipscomb. The Kia swerved off the side of the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver of the Kia was ejected by the impact.

The Kia driver was pronounced deceased at scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
Lipscomb was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
The crash is under investigation.
