Perris, CA: Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on Highway 74
1 Killed in Perris Pedestrian Accident on Highway 74 at River Road
Perris, California (December 14, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a car Friday evening on Highway 74 in Perris, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities said the accident took place at about 7:06 p.m. where the highway meets River Road.
A witness reported that a pedestrian got off an RTA bus and ran to the center divide. The pedestrian was waving his hands to get vehicles to see him, then tried to run across to the other side and was hit.
The victim died in the accident.
There were no other details that were given.
The incident is under an active investigation.
