Anthony Carreon Struck, Killed by Vehicle on East Third Street in San Jacinto
Anthony Carreon ID’d as Boy Killed in San Jacinto Pedestrian Accident on East Third Street
San Jacinto, California (February 13, 2019) – Authorities have identified the boy who died after being struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon in San Jacinto as Anthony Carreon, 1, of San Jacinto.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:45 p.m. Monday, February 11 in the 300 block of East Third Street.
According to a local news source, an unspecified vehicle was backing out of a driveway when it hit Carreon.
Carreon sustained serious injuries and was transported to Hemet Valley Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
