Alicia Del Cid Killed in Pomona Accident on 10 Freeway
Alicia Del Cid ID’d as 1 of 2 Pedestrians Hit, Killed by Vehicle on San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Towne Avenue in Pomona
Pomona, California (October 13, 2020) – Alicia Del Cid, 19, has been identified as one of the two pedestrians who died after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Pomona.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened at around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, October 11 on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Towne Avenue.
Authorities said Cid and a man were standing on the roadway when they were hit by a vehicle that was heading westbound on 10 Freeway.
Fatal Pomona Pedestrian Accident Early Sunday Morning
Cid and the unidentified man were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The driver was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
