Alexander Arvizu ID’d as Toddler Killed in Arvin Pedestrian Accident on Sunset Boulevard
Arvin, California (August 8, 2020) – Authorities have identified the toddler who died after being struck by a vehicle earlier this month in Arvin as Alexander Arvizu, 2, of Arvin.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred at around 4:10 p.m. Saturday, August 1, in the 11000 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Authorities said Arvizu was hit by a vehicle on Sunset Boulevard.
Arvizu was taken to Kern Medical, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is underway.
