Woman Suffers Major Injuries in Highway 101 Accident near Clarke Avenue Off-Ramp
Orcutt, California (August 8, 2020) – A woman sustained major injuries following a traffic accident that occurred Friday night in Orcutt, authorities said.
At around 9:53 p.m. Friday, August 7, the California Highway Patrol officers received a report about the crash on Highway 101 near the Clarke Avenue exit.
According to the CHP, a vehicle was traveling on Highway 101 when, for unknown reasons, it veered off the roadway and struck the exit sign.
The vehicle was recovered 100 feet off the roadway on the other side of a fence.

The woman was flown to the Cottage Hospital by a CalStar helicopter in critical condition. Her name was not immediately diclosed.
