Alec Flores Critically Injured in DUI Hit-and-Run Accident on Franklin Road in Yuba City

Yuba City, California (October 7, 2019) – The boy who was critically injured after being struck by an alleged DUI hit-and-run driver Monday morning in Yuba City has been identified as Alec Flores, 13, of Yuba City.

The accident happened just after 8:00 a.m. on Franklin Road near Lindsey Lane.

Police said Flores was struck by a vehicle while he was walking along Franklin Road.

Flores sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle involved, identified as Constance Addison, 36, was did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. But was later arrested.

Authorities said Addison had her three children in the car with her at the time of the accident. She is facing charges for felony hit-and-run, child endangerment, and felony driving under the influence causing injury.
