One Killed in Afton Pedestrian Crash on 15 Freeway near Barstow
Afton, California (April 8, 2019) – One person was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday evening in Afton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 4:38 p.m. April 6, on the southbound side of the Interstate 15 Freeway.
Police said an 18-wheeler truck struck a person on the 15 freeway.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the man was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
