Ricardo Martinez ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Fontana Crash at Jurupa Avenue and Redwood Avenue

Fontana, California (April 7, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed Friday morning in a traffic accident in Fontana has been identified as Ricardo Martinez, 35, of Fontana, according to the San Bernardino County Sherrif-Coroner.
The tragic crash took place at around 4:54 a.m. Friday, April 5 at the intersection of Jurupa Avenue and Redwood Avenue.
Authorities said a motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer for an undetermined reason at the intersection.

Martinez was taken to the Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fontana emergency room, where he later succumbed to his injuries at around 5:25 a.m.
Fontana Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
