62-Year-Old Tourist Fatally Hit by Car on Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo
Woman Killed in San Luis Obispo Crash on Madonna Road
San Luis Obispo, California (October 10, 2019) – A tourist was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday night in San Luis Obispo, according to the police.
The crash happened just after 9 p.m. October 8, in the 200 block of Madonna Road.
Police said a 62-year-old woman was trying to cross the street when she was hit by a car operated by a 30-year-old driver.
Woman Dies in San Luis Obispo Pedestrian Crash
Emergency crews responded to the incident and transported the victim to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Her identity was not immediately released.
Police said drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
