2 Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Pole Line Road in Davis
Two Hospitalized after Davis Car Crash on Pole Line Road near County Road 29
Davis, California (January 16, 2021) – Two people were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Davis, according to a local news source.
The major injury collision happened at around 12:45 p.m. on Pole Line Road, just south of County Road 29.
According to a California Highway Patrol traffic incident log, about four vehicles were involved in the crash.
One of the involved vehicles, a sedan, crashed into a pole on the west side of the road and caught fire, which spread to dry brush on both sides of the road.
Major Injury Accident on Pole Line Road in Davis
Two people sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. One patient was airlifted to a hospital while the other victim was taken by ground ambulance to the hospital.
The names and conditions of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
Pole Line Road was shut down between Moore Boulevard and County Road 29 while the crews worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
