Tulare County, CA: Major Injury Traffic Collision on Highway 137
2 Injured in Tulare County Car Crash on Highway 137 near Avenue 208
Tulare County, California (January 16, 2021) – Two people were injured Friday evening in a multi-vehicle crash in Tulare County, according to a local news source.
The major injury collision happened at around 6:05 p.m. Friday, January 15 in the southbound lanes of Highway 137, just south of Avenue 208. Highway 137 is also known as Road 36
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the crash involved two sedans and two other vehicles. Details on what led up to the collision were not immediately available.
Authorities said two patients were transported to Kaweah Delta, one with major injuries. Their names and conditions at this time were not disclosed.
The road was closed for more than one hour while the investigation and cleanup took place.
