1 Injured in Car Accident on 8 Freeway near Highway 67 in El Cajon
El Cajon, California (July 8, 2021) – At least one person was hospitalized after being injured in a traffic collision in El Cajon on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 8 Freeway near Highway 67 at about 12:42 a.m.
A black Subaru and a second car were involved in the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
