Yia Thao Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident on 55th Street and Florin Road
Yia Thao ID’d as Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on 55th Street and Florin Road in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (December 9, 2019) – The man who was hit and killed by a vehicle early Monday morning in the area of 55th Street and Florin Road in Parkway Estates has been identified as Yia Thao, 36, of Sacramento, according to the coroner’s office.
The deadly accident was reported shortly after 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of 55th Street and Florin Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, Thao was walking in the area when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a vehicle.

Thao died in the accident.
No other information was immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
