Yannis Floros and Tabia Watson Killed in Jamul Crash at Campo Road near Lyons Valley Road
Jamul, California (January 3, 2019) – 21-year-old Yannis Floros and 20-year-old Tabia Watson have been identified as the persons killed in a traffic collision Thursday night in the area of Jamul, according to a local news source.
The accident happened a while before 11:30 p.m. Monday, December 31, in the 13700 block of Campo Road near Lyons Valley Road.
As per the report, Floros was driving an eastbound Cadillac sedan that swerved out of control and skidded into the path of an oncoming SUV. The SUV then hit the passenger side door of the sedan where Watson was seated.
Responding firefighters attended to the crash victims. Watson was declared dead at the scene while Floros was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego where he succumbed to his injuries at 12:37 a.m.
Authorities said that two persons occupying the SUV suffered moderate injuries following the collision.
