Pedestrian Killed in Woodland Crash on Interstate 5 near East Street
Woodland, California (February 22, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday night in Woodland, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m., on February 19, on Interstate 5 near East Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2020 Nissan was headed northbound on Interstate 5 when it struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was trying to cross the roadway at the time, the officials said.

Sadly, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
