Stockton, California (March 27, 2021) – A woman died after being struck by a vehicle in Stockton on Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol officers, the accident happened at about 7 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway near Downing Avenue.
A woman was walking across the northbound lanes of the freeway when she was hit by a vehicle.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
