Lomita, California (July 21, 2021) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Lomita, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported at around 4:40 a.m. at the intersection of Lomita Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue.
A woman in her 60s was walking across the street when she was hit by a car.
The woman was killed in the crash. Her identity was not disclosed.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
