1 Injured in Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Whipple Road
Hayward, California (July 21, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car crash in Hayward on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near Whipple Road at about 8:05 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
More information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
