Woman Killed, Another Injured in Berkeley Pedestrian Accident at Ashby and Newbury
Woman Struck and Killed by Car at Ashby Avenue and Newbury Street in Berkeley
Berkeley, California (July 27, 2021) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident that left another woman injured in Berkeley on Monday night.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened in the area of Ashby Avenue and Newbury Street at about 10 p.m. July 10 p.m. July 26.
The California Highway Patrol said two women were struck by a car in the area in unclear circumstances.
Both women were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Sadly, one of the women succumbed to her injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
