Santa Maria, California (April 5, 2019) – A woman was killed in a traffic accident in Santa Maria Thursday evening, according to police.

The fatal crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at the intersection of Union Valley Parkway and California Boulevard.

Police said the woman was driving a tan-colored sedan northbound on California Boulevard when her vehicle was hit by an Apex Auto Glass pickup that was traveling eastbound on Union Valley Parkway. Reportedly, the pickup truck had the right of way.

The woman, who has not been identified pending notification of her family, was killed in the wreck.
