San Diego, California (February 14, 2021) – A 25-year-old woman was injured in a Sunday morning hit-and-run accident in San Diego, authorities said.

The accident occurred just after midnight at the intersection of Carroll Canyon and Scranton Roads.

According to the police, a vehicle was doing donuts in the middle of the intersection when it struck the female pedestrian.

The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident.

The involved driver fled the scene. The vehicle was described as a dark or blue sedan with two chrome exhaust pipes coming out of the left rear side.
