Minor Injuries Sustained in Hayward Crash on 880 Freeway near Whipple Road Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (February 14, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash happened Sunday morning on a freeway in Hayward, resulting in minor injuries, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 5:18 a.m. on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of Whipple Road off-ramp.
A gray Honda Accord, a silver Toyota Camry, and a Chevrolet Cruz collided for unknown reasons.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims. An unknown number of parties suffered minor injuries, the report said. It was not mentioned if any of the victims were hospitalized.
All vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
CHP is investigating the collision.
