1 Person Killed in Westlake Motorcycle Crash on 10 Freeway and 110 Freeway
Westlake, California (September 14, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening in Westlake, authorities said.
The deadly motorcycle accident transpired at about 6:00 p.m., on September 13, on the transition road between Santa Monica (10) Freeway and Harbor (110) Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was traveling westbound 10 Freeway to 110 Freeway when the accident occurred. The manner at which the crash happened is yet to be established.
As a result of the collision, the rider was ejected onto the roadway, the officials said.

The motorcyclist was transported to California Hospital Medical Center. Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Following the accident, the roadway was closed and was reopened at about 7:30 p.m.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
