Sacramento, CA: 1 Hurt in Crash on 5 Freeway near Laguna Boulevard
1 Injured in Sacramento Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Laguna Boulevard
Sacramento, California (September 14, 2020) – One person was injured in a single vehicle crash in south Sacramento on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Laguna Boulevard at about 6:44 p.m. September 14.
A Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling on the roadway, possibly at a high rate of speed, when it lost control at a construction zone and crashed.
The pickup truck overturned and landed on its roof after the collision.
One person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
