Waterloo, California (March 13, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a Waterloo accident that left one person with serious injuries Friday night.

Authorities said the major injury collision occurred at Highway 88 and Brumby Road near the Sorelle Winery just around 9:35 p.m.

The accident involved a pickup truck and another unspecified vehicle that crashed on Highway 88 at the intersection with Brumby Road for undetermined reasons.

Due to the impact, the pickup went off the highway.

1 Seriously Hurt in Waterloo Collision 

One person, who sustained major injuries, was attended to by paramedics and then rushed to an area hospital for further medication.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
