64-Year-Old Wasco Man Killed in Hanford Crash on Kansas Avenue and 11th Avenue
Hanford, California (May 3, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday evening traffic accident that killed a 60-year-old man from Wasco.
The deadly accident happened at about 6:52 p.m., on April 30, at the intersection of Kansas Avenue and 11th Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 29-year-old man from Tulare was headed eastbound on Kansas Avenue in a 2010 Chevrolet while a 64-year-old man from Wasco was driving a 2008 Toyota westbound on Kansas Avenue.
Unfortunately, the Chevy reportedly entered the westbound lane directly into the path of the Toyota. The Toyota crashed into the left front end of the Chevy.

Sadly, the Wasco man and the Tulare man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
