Minor Injuries Sustained in Vista Accident on Highway 78 near Emerald

Vista, California (June 5, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in the area of Vista, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 1:07 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 78 near Emerald.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the cars overturned following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The names of the patients and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed lane 3 and 4 following the crash.
