Virgilio Garcia in Grave Condition Following Santa Ana Bicycle Accident at Main Street and Warner Avenue
Virgilio Garcia Badly Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Main Street and Warner Avenue in Santa Ana

Santa Ana, California (October 15, 2019) – The bicyclist who was badly injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Sunday morning in Santa Ana has been identified as Virgilio Lemus Garcia, 60.
The crash happened at about 5:20 a.m. Sunday, October 13 near the intersection of Main Street and Warner Avenue.
Police said Garcia was riding his bicycle northbound on Main Street across the intersection when a blue Honda traveling westbound on Warner Avenue struck him.
The driver of the Honda fled the scene after the incident.
Garcia sustained head trauma and was rushed to a hospital where he was listed grave condition.
Police said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
