Tuolumne County, California (July 20, 2019) – One of the two people who were injured Thursday evening in a multi-vehicle crash in the Keystone area of Tuolumne County has been identified as Violet Auxildadora Baker, 78, of Sonara, according to a local news source.

The accident took place just after 4:30 p.m. on Highway 108/120 near the intersection of J-59/La Grange Road.

The California Highway Patrol said Baker was driving a 2006 Ford Escape eastbound on the highway when she drifted across the double yellow lines and collided with an oncoming 2011 Chevrolet pickup.

Baker suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Adventist Health of Sonora.

The second driver had minor injuries.

CHP said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
