Victorville, California (June 21, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident on Saturday night in Victorville, according to police.

The deadly crash transpired at around 8:45 p.m., on June 20, on Amargosa Road, north of Roy Rogers Drive.

A four-door burgundy Saturn sedan collided with a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle on the roadway in unclear circumstances, the police said.

First responders arrived at the scene and located the motorcycle and the rider on the northbound lanes of the roadway.

Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Amargosa Road in Victorville

The rider was taken to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and airlifted to a trauma center.

As a result of the accident, the windshield of the sedan was damaged.

The sedan driver, a woman, stopped at the scene and was cooperative, said the authorities. She was not injured in the crash.

The motorcycle was removed from the scene by a tow truck.

Amargosa Road was temporarily blocked in both directions due to the accident.
