Carmel Valley, CA: 2 Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash at Camp Steffani Rd and SR16
2 Hospitalized after Carmel Valley Motorcycle Accident at Camp Steffani Road and State Route 16
Carmel Valley, California (June 21, 2020) – Two people were seriously injured in a Carmel Valley motorcycle accident that took place Saturday at the intersection of Camp Steffani Road and State Route 16.
Authorities said a white Ford Escape collided with two motorcycles at about 10:48 a.m. under unclear circumstances.
The two motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries. One of them was undergoing emergency surgery, and the other was listed in critical condition.
Officers said the 89-year-old driver of the Escape was not believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
