1 Killed, 2 Airlifted in Victorville Head-on -Accident on National Trails Highway

Victorville, California (September 9, 2019) – One person was killed and two others airlifted after being involved in a head-on crash in Victorville on Sunday night.
The fatal collision happened at approximately 10:39 p.m. September 8, on National Trails near Tawney Ridge Lane, in front of the cement plant.
As per the report, a white Nissan Armada driven by a 45-year-old Kenya Williams southbound toward the I-15 collided head-on with a red Ford Flex which was traveling in the opposite direction. The initial report indicated that the Nissan crossed over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the Ford. The Ford was occupied by two people at the time of the collision.
Williams sustained moderate injuries in the crash. She was airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment. The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene following the wreck. The passenger in the Ford was also airlifted to a local trauma center and listed in critical condition. The names of both the deceased and the injured parties have not yet been released to this time.
The crash resulted in the closure of National Trails Highway/D Street in Victorville for several hours.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating whether or not drugs or alcohols were a factor during the occurrence of the fatal accident.
