One Person Hospitalized after Victorville Crash on Interstate 15 near D Street
Victorville, California (July 4, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after a Sunday morning traffic accident in Victorville, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 6:35 a.m. on southbound Interstate 15 near D Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver 2012 Chrysler 200 Touring crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer for undetermined reasons.
Following the collision, the tractor-trailer stopped hundreds of feet away on the right shoulder, near the on-ramp on D-Street.
1 Injured in Victorville Crash
The driver of the Chrysler was injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
