South San Francisco, California (January 24, 2021) – A 50-year-pedestrian was seriously injured in a Wednesday night hit-and-run crash in South San Francisco, authorities said.
The major injury pedestrian accident happened at about 8:00 p.m., on January 20, in the 200 block of Village Way.
According to the police, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, driven by Victor Hernandez Castillo, 52, of South San Francisco, in unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Castillo fled the scene but was arrested on Thursday. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run with injuries and being an unlicensed driver.
