Sacramento, California (November 4, 2020) – Authorities have identified the Sacramento victim who died following a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento, Wednesday morning, as 25-year-old Adrian William Mathis.

The California Highway Patrol said the fatal crash happened near the intersection of Watt and Myrtle avenues in the morning hours.

The accident happened when the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department attempted to pull over an Audi on Auburn Boulevard for unknown reasons.

The Audi operator failed to stop and continued driving along the highway, where it slammed into two other unspecified vehicles at the Sacramento intersection.

Adrian Mathis Fatal Sacramento Car Crash Wednesday Morning 

A passenger riding in the Audi was pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver survived with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the people riding in the other two automobiles sustained minor injuries.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
