Vicente Delgado ID’d as 82-Year-Old Man Killed in Fontana Scooter Accident on Arrow Route
Fontana, California (August 4, 2020) – Vicente Delgado, 82, has been identified as the man who was killed in a scooter accident on Monday afternoon in Fontana, authorities said.
Shortly after 2:00 p.m., on August 3, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly accident in the 13300 block of Arrow Route.
Delgado was crossing the street on a motor scooter to go to his mailbox when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a white van in the westbound lane, the CHP said.
First responders arrived at the scene and found Delgado lying in the middle of the roadway.

Delgado was declared dead at the crash site.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
