Ventura Man Dies in Santa Paula Plane Crash near Wheeler Canyon Road
Santa Paula, California (July 24, 2021) – A pilot was killed when an ultralight glider crashed Friday evening near Santa Paula, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.
At around 6:05 p.m. Friday, July 23, the authorities received a report about the crash near the 6000 block of Wheeler Canyon Road.
The ultralight craft crashed under unclear circumstances into a remote area.
Pilot Killed in Santa Paula Plane Crash
The pilot, only identified as a Ventura man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
