Pedestrian Killed, One Injured in Vacaville Crash on Highway 80 near Nut Tree Road
Vacaville, California (July 24, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning traffic accident that killed a pedestrian and left one other person seriously injured in Vacaville.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 3:18 a.m., on July 23, on eastbound Interstate Highway 80, west of Nut Tree Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking eastbound on the highway when a 2001 Acura struck him in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the involved vehicle sustained major injuries in the accident.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for a short period due to the collision.
