Ventura County, California (March 23, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury multi-vehicle accident that happened Monday afternoon on Highway 101 in Ventura County.

The incident was reported at about 1:05 p.m. in the northbound lanes at the Santa Clara River Bridge.

CHP said a white adult daycare van, a white Toyota Prius, a gray Chrysler 200, and another unknown vehicle were involved in the pileup.

At the time of the report, the cause and manner of the crash remained unknown.

Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 1 lane.

An unknown number of parties suffered minor injuries in the crash. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer the victims medical help.

The Prius was towed away with a hanging bumper and the Chrysler with front- and rear-ends damage.

CHP is investigating the collision.
