Ventura County, California (July 24, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision Thursday afternoon in Ventura County.

The major injury crash happened on Highway 101 at the Seacliff off-ramp just around 3:35 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how a gold Toyota Tundra crashed with a white Chevrolet Tahoe on the southbound of the highway.

Due to the impact, the Toyota acquired moderate front-end damage while the Chevrolet went 40 feet off the roadway.

One unidentified person sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.

The crash resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of Highway 101 at Seacliff for an unknown time.
