Ventura, California (May 28, 2021) – A Ventura accident involving two vehicles Tuesday afternoon resulted in minor injuries to one unidentified person.

The minor injury crash took place on Highway 126 near Wells Road at about 1:45 p.m. on May 25.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how a white Ford van crashed with a gold Mercury Grand Marquis on the westbound side of the roadway in the afternoon hours.

Due to the impact, the Mercury acquired major front-end damage.

Minor Injury Ventura Accident

One person sustained minor injuries following the collision.

The crash resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 126 for an unknown time.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
