Injuries Reported in Van Nuys Car Accident on Interstate 405 Freeway at Victory Boulevard
Van Nuys, California (December 12, 2019) – Injuries were reported in a traffic accident involving several vehicles in Van Nuys Thursday afternoon, according to a local news source.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 12:08 p.m. on the Interstate 405 Freeway at Victory Boulevard.
As per the report, a red van, a black BMW, a white Lexus, two Toyota sedans and a tanker truck were involved in the crash. As a result of the collision, the white Lexus was wedged underneath the tanker truck.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and treated those who were injured in the crash. The exact number of the injured parties and the extent of their injuries were not immediately disclosed.
A SigAlert was issued for the closure of several lanes and the tanker was leaking fuel.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
