Antioch, CA: Head-On Crash on Antioch Bridge
1 Injured in Antioch Car Accident on Antioch Bridge
Antioch, California (December 12, 2019) – One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a head-on crash in Antioch, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at around 1:00 p.m. on the Antioch Bridge and involved a semi tractor-trailer truck and two cars.
The CHP said a flatbed semi-truck transporting John Deere tractors reportedly collided with a Nissan Sentra and another vehicle. As a result of the crash, one of the involved vehicles possibly rolled over and the semi-truck burst into flames
Fiery Multi-Car Accident on Antioch Bridge Thursday
Emergency crews responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who was injured in the crash. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
