Valley Springs, California (April 17, 2021) – A motorcyclist and passenger were injured Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Valley Springs, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The major injury collision was reported at around 3:22 p.m. in the area of Highway 26 and Double Springs Road, the CHP report states.
According to the report, a motorcycle collided with an Amazon delivery vehicle for an unknown reason on Highway 26 and Double Springs Road.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in Valley Springs
Both the driver of the motorcycle and their passenger were airlifted to Modesto hospitals with major injuries, including arm and leg injuries. Their names and condition were not immediately disclosed.
Police closed the roadway for nearly one hour while the investigation and cleanup took place.
