Woodland, California (July 16, 2021) – The pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle Sunday morning east of Woodland in Yolo County has been identified as Valeriy Timoshenko, 38, of West Sacramento.
The fatal crash happened at around 4:45 a.m. Sunday, July 11, on County Road 22, just west of County Road 117, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said Timoshenko was attempting to cross the road when a vehicle traveling westbound on County Road 22 hit him.

Timoshenko was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details regarding the collision were immediately available.
