Man Killed in Morro Bay Crash on Morro Bay Boulevard at Bernardo Avenue
Morro Bay, California (July 16, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a commercial trash truck in Morro Bay on Thursday afternoon, according to the Morro Bay police.
The accident happened just after noon July 15 on Morro Bay Boulevard at Bernardo Avenue.
Police said a man was crossing the street when he was struck by the truck.
Pedestrian Killed in Morro Bay Crash
The victim was dragged by the truck for several blocks and came to a rest at the roundabout on Morro Bay Boulevard near Quintana Road.
The man, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
The Morro Bay police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
